Barca will wear a black jersey for the fourth time in their history as their second kit after doing so before in 2011/12, 2013/14 and 2020/21. On all occasions the success of the kit with the blaugrana fans was extraordinary and in the year of the Club’s 125th anniversary black will be the main colour once again on the strip.
The away kit for FC Barcelona in the 2024/25 season is a look into the kits of the future, mixing iconic Barca stripes and a black background, allowing them to shine. One of the key elements in the TPU badge which has a reflective finish on a darkened badge, proudly sitting between blue and maroon outlines.
An all-black badge and Nike Swoosh are outlined in red and blue, with the colours splitting down the middle to create a half-and-half effect. On the right side, a panel of red stretches down from the sleeve to the hem, continuing onto the shorts. The left side mimics the design in blue. On the inside collar, Barcelona’s 125th anniversary emblem is printed in blue and garnet, and the Catalonian flag sits on the back.
Barcelona’s 2024/25 home kit has been billed as beign “inspired by the club’s legacy, trajectory and roots” and it is q throwback to the first ever Barca kit from 1899. It was officially released on July 18, 2024. Instead of vertical blue and maroon stripes, the 2024/25 home kit features just two blocks of blue and maroon on the torso, with the Barcelona club crest uniting them in the middle, while the sleeves are in corresponding blue and maroon colours.
This kid is very similar to the iconic 1998-99 season kit, then unveiled as Barca’s 100th anniversary kit (1899-1999), this kit marks the club’s 125th anniversary.
While the ‘Spotify’ main shirt sponsor and the sleeve sponsor stand out in red only, the sides appear to have a vertical strip of red and blue on the right and left, respectively.
